Hello from beautiful Double Oak, Texas.
My name is Cindy Helm and I am a farmer florist. Growing beautiful fresh cut flowers in 20 different flower beds on our 1 acre property.
I started my journey with flowers in March of 2020. A "not so perfect" time to start a flower farm, but here I am.
One of the questions I get all the time is, "why the name of Not So Perfect Designs Flower Farm?"
My answer to that, I think that IS the experience of growing flowers. It is not so perfect. Between the seedlings, transplanting, growing, weeding, harvesting, insects, weather, etc. Things can seem a little "not so perfect", but yet the flowers always turn out just right. Does that make sense to you? It makes total sense to me. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.
Again, my goal is to grow farm fresh flowers, arrange them, teach you how to in floral arrangement classes, and have them available to you at the Denton Community farmers market.
